Michelle E. Flaum, Ed.D., PCC-S

Michelle is a Professional Clinical Counselor (Ohio # E7537) who works with individual adults and adolescents, couples, and families. Specializing in the treatment of depression/anxiety, grief/loss, relationships, and women's issues, Michelle strives to help people who seek mental, emotional, and relational well-being.

She earned a BA in Greek and Latin from The Ohio State University, MS.Ed. in Community Counseling from The University of Dayton, and her doctorate in Counselor Education from The University of Cincinnati.

Michelle is also a Clinical Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Human Services at the University of Dayton  She is a national speaker and has published on topics such as Ethics, Identity, and Likeability. She is a contributing author of the Handbook of Moral Development, published by Notre Dame University Press.

Michelle served on the executive council of the Ohio Counseling Association and the executive board of the Miami Valley Counseling Association. She is an active member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors.
Scott E. Hall, Ph.D., LPCC-S
 
Scott is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (Ohio # E 2080) with over 15 years' experience helping individuals, couples, and groups in personal and professional development. Specializations include transitions, relationships, anxiety/depression, and men's issues.

He earned a Doctorate in Clinical Counseling and Interpersonal Comunication from The Ohio State University, a Masters in Counseling from Ohio University, and a Bachelors degree in Business Management from Western Carolina University.  Scott is certified by the American Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Therapist and serves on state and national speakers networks.

In addition to maintaining a private practice, Scott is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counselor Education and Human Services at the University of Dayton.  He has numerous publications including the book "Behavior Coaching" and has made formal presentations at state, national, and world conferences addressing counseling theory, interventions, character, and holistic health care.

Scott served as President of the Ohio Counseling Association, President of the Central Ohio Counseling Association, and is an active member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Counselor Educators and Supervisors. Scott is also a veteran of the United States Army.
